Rain and Storms Delay Both Days of ACM’s Concerts for a Cause [PHOTOS]

Nearly identical thunderstorms delayed the festivities at Globe Life park both Friday and Saturday nights.

Concerts for a Cause featured Super Star duets performing for a TV special set to air May 15th.  Pairings like Clint Black and Joe Nichols, Darius Rucker with Sara Evans, and one of my favorite pairings, Alabama with the Eli Young Band.

Friday nights event was delayed by two hours as thunderstorms slashed through the area with high winds and heavy rain and frequent lightning.

Saturday followed nearly the same weather pattern with the delay running just a bit longer.  The storms were more severe with several Thurnderstorm Warnings and even one Tornado warnings leaving thousands without electricity even through the end of the weekend.
