Reba McEntire made a huge announcement early Thursday evening (Dec. 15). The country superstar shared the news of a forthcoming gospel album and solo show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in a live stream on her Facebook page.

McEntire will release Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope on Feb. 3 through a partnership with Nash Icon Records and Capitol Christian. The project is a double album consisting of 10 classic hymns and 10 new songs.

Trisha Yearwood and Kelly Clarkson joined the country icon for "Softly and Tenderly," which will be available on iTunes on Friday (Dec. 16). A new song from the project will be available to download every Friday between now and Feb. 3.

McEntire will join Clarkson live during her Miracle on Broadway show in Nashville Friday night to perform "Softly and Tenderly" live. She has just filmed a video for the new album's first single, "Back to God."

The country legend will also perform her first-ever solo show at Nashville's iconic Ryman Auditorium on Feb. 15. Tickets go on sale on Thursday night (Dec. 15) at 6PM CT at her website and the Ryman's official website. The Ryman celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2017. She also announced that she will travel overseas to Glasgow, London and Dublin for the Country to Country Festival, which takes place March 10-12.

The announcement comes just days after the Hollywood Reporter leaked that McEntire was working on a new television series with Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. Described as a "Southern gothic soap opera," the show is "set in motion after a suspected act of terrorism happens at a Fourth of July parade in the small town of Oxblood, Ky,” according to the report. “The FBI sends a cocky agent of Middle Eastern descent to investigate. He teams with the mercurial local sheriff to uncover secrets far darker than either could have ever imagined."
