Congratulations to Blake Shelton on earning his first million-selling album with Red River Blue.  The project sold 2,000 copies in the last sales frame to hit that milestone, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Red River Blue was Blake's first album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 back in July 2011. It went on to produce the #1 hits "Honey Bee," "God Gave Me You," "Drink on It" and "Over."

Blake's latest album, Based on a True Story, is well on its way to the million-seller mark. In the 17 weeks since it came out, that project has already moved 763,000 copies.
