The Friday KLAW Classic was the #1 song June 15th, 1985 - 27 years ago. It's a song written by members of a British Band called Head Hands & Feet, and features a lot of fast moving fingers!

The video features bluegrass legend Bill Monroe as Uncle Penn, visiting his nephew (Ricky Skaggs) in New York City. There's also a cameo appearance by then- NYC Mayor Ed Koch as a cab driver. It was nominated for CMA Video of the Year in 1985, but lost to Hank Williams, Jr.'s "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight". It wasn't a bad night for Ricky, though - he walked away with the Entertainer of the Year award that night. Here's Ricky Skaggs, and "Country Boy".
