Road Trip!

Sometimes, you just have to get away! Away from work, and away from home. So when you plan your trip, do you go all out, or just on a Road Trip?Phyllis and Rhonda had this trip planned long before I was the third wheel. They are baseball fans, and going to Spring Training was high on both of their bucket lists. How they talked me into this trip is beyond me! I am not a huge baseball fan. But I do like to go the a real game rather than watch them on television. The first mention of this trip came just before Chrsitmas. Both girls thought that I would make a great addition to the trip. (They didn’t really fool me. I was pretty sure it was just splitting the cost 3 ways that attracted them!)
Well, here we are, on the road. Actually it is the trip of a lifetime! We have laughed so much at some of the things that you say when you are tired. Like, “My pants are hot”, and “Look, a cow”. Maybe you had to be there! We have stood on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. (Such a fine sight to see, complete with the Flat Bed Ford). And so far we have attended two Spring Training games. And gotten autographs from some Texas Ranger players. Next stop: Vegas!
