November 8th is election day, and this year, possibly more than any other, every vote can count. That's why Cameron University brought a "Rock The Vote" event to their campus on Saturday.

The University held a voter registration drive on Saturday following the event, which included food and music. The Rock The Vote organization hopes to encourage voter registration and to get more people that are registered to their polling places on election date. The organization gears its presentation to younger crowds, those of voting age least likely to vote on election date.

Rock the Vote will also hold a voter transportation drive on November 8th to transport people to and from the polls. And if you have yet to register to vote, you have less than week left to register for the November election. The deadline in Oklahoma is October 14th, while the deadline for Texas is October 11th.
