KLAW’s Staff Rocking for a Cause – to End Alzheimer’s [PHOTOS]

Most of the time, Nancy Mace and myself are off our Rockers!  Today, however, we were rocking for a cause!  That cause is the fight to end the terrible Alzheimer's Disease. 

Nancy and I rocked from 9-10am and encouraged listeners to donate to either of us as a competition to raise the most for the Alzheimer's Association.  I had a rocking partner as well, my Grand-Daughter, McKayla!

The Rock-A-Thon is the latest effort by Ten Oak Retirement Center employees and residents to raise funds for this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's.  The staff and residents plan 'Good Deeds' each month to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.

Other fund-raisers have included a pie sale, a back yard carnival, and even singing Valentines!  The Rock-A-Thon continues at  3610 SE Huntington Circle, until 9pm tonight. Beside Nancy Mace and I, Lawton's Mayor Fred Finch is also expected to make an appearance at the event around 4 p.m.  If you would like to make a donation to the KLAW team you can do that here!
