Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain took the Taco Bell challenge, stealing a base in game one of the World Series, and because of that, America can 'steal' breakfast at Taco Bell on November 5th.

Cain bought America breakfast with a sixth inning steal of second base off of Mets starter Matt Harvey. He would later score on a single by Mike Moustakas to tie the game at 3. Cain would be on first base in the first base in the fourteenth inning when Eric Hosmer's sacrifice fly scored Alcides Escobar scored the winning run in a 5-4 win.

Before game 1, the Taco Bell Corporation tweeted that if any player stole a base during the game, it would give away a free A.M. Crunchwrap to everyone in America. Theoretically, this could turn out to be quite the expensive promotion for Taco Bell. Do the math; at an average cost of $2.50 per item, it would cost the company more than $750 million if every American ordered breakfast on the morning of Nov. 5th.

However, it's highly unlikely Taco Bell will be on that hook. There is always small print limitations on how many free breakfasts will be distributed. The caveat is right inside the contest’s rules and restrictions where you will see three magic, small printed words, “while supplies last.”

Cain was apparently aware of the Taco Bell promotion ahead of time. When asked during a post game interview about  the stolen base, the Royal centerfielder responded "I need my Taco Bell before bed. Who wants Taco Bell? It's on me."

The free breakfast will be available at all local Taco Bell locations:

6704 Nw Cache Rd
2 Sw Sheridan Rd
2425 Nw Cache Rd
8 Se Lee Blvd

Cain and the Royals currently hold a 2-0 advantage after a 7-1 win Wednesday night. The series resumes Friday night as the New Mets host the Royals at Citi Field in New York.
