If you're planning to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday (Feb. 7), tune in a little early, and you'll get to see country star Sam Hunt perform at the Super Bowl 50 NFL Tailgate Party.

Hunt and Seal will co-headline the NFL's official pre-game party at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco, Calif., before the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers during the 2016 Super Bowl. Snippets of the event will air 2PM-6PM ET, during CBS’ Super Bowl Today program.

This isn't the first time that Hunt has displayed his talent at the beloved football event; in 2015, he played a pre-Super Bowl concert, which the Zac Brown Band headlined. The singer-songwriter may have dreamed about being part of the Super Bowl in the past, but in a different way: Hunt was a quarterback for Middle Tennessee State University (two years) and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (two years), but after a not-great week at a free agent training camp hosted by the Kansas City Chiefs, he headed to Nashville.

After the Super Bowl, Hunt will be headed to Los Angeles, Calif., to perform at the 58th annual Grammy Awards, dueting with country superstar Carrie Underwood. In addition to performing, Hunt is also nominated for Best Country Album and Best New Artist at the awards show.

The artist is currently working on his sophomore album, but now that he's so busy touring, he admits that it's harder to garner inspiration.

“I think there is a way to write about my life and be honest about where I have been the past two years. And even though that experience might not be as relatable, I think it can be,” Hunt says. “I’m still experiencing the same emotions I was before. Hopefully I can blend the worlds and make music that connects with everyone.”
