It came as no surprise when Sam Hunt came onto the stage at this year's American Country Countdown Awards. The country star was nominated for a whole bunch of awards during the ceremony, including Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Breakthrough Male of the Year, Album of the Year and Digital Album of the Year -- and he took home two of them.

After locking Breakthrough Male of the Year, Hunt chose to perform "Make You Miss Me." He took to the stage wearing a blue-and-white button-up shirt and opted to show off his piano skills on what is a slower song for the "Break Up in a Small Town" singer. As Hunt sat at his piano, he was dimly lit, and the screens behind him showed images of bright city lights and fast-moving traffic.

Following his performance, Hunt found out that he also won Digital Album of the Year. Hunt gave a brief acceptance speech for both trophies, in which he thanked his fans for sticking with him.

“Make You Miss Me” is the latest single, the sixth, from Hunt's Montevallo album. It and the rest of Montevallo are available on iTunes.
