After the 2015 World Series opened up with a Kansas City Royals 14-inning, 5-4, game 1 win over the New York Mets, game 2 got off to an incredible start, as Missouri native Sara Evans performed a rousing rendition of the National Anthem for a sold-out Kaufman Stadium crowd.

Evans, who was born and raised 90 minutes down Highway 70 from Kansas City in Booneville, MO, a Royals hotbed, definitely got the night started on a good foot, with her energetic performance of "The Star Spangled Banner".
