When the lights go down, Shania Twain comes out swingin'. The country superstar brought her new song, "Swingin' With Me Eyes Closed" to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (Aug. 16), just hours before announcing a 2018 tour.

Twain rocked the late night stage in a truly Twain outfit — a full-body, sparkly black jumpsuit — as she belted out the song's big notes. The singer was in fine form, owning the stage with her killer confidence and strong vocals as she sang, "I'm swinging with my eyes closed / Got my hair down a wide open road / I'm swinging with my eyes closed / Only God knows how far it goes."

Backed by a simple and sleek all-white set, Twain was clearly having fun with the performance, jamming during the song's solo fiddle breakdown before coming to a strong close, only to receive rave reviews from host Jimmy Fallon.

Twain first performed "Swingin' With My Eyes Closed" during an appearance on the Today Show in June. The song, her new single, will appear on her 2017 album, Nowset to drop on Sept. 29. “The fighter in me wrote that song,” she tells Rolling Stone about the track. “I was thinking of a boxer taking a swing, or a baby first coming out with his eyes and fists closed. They can’t even see yet and they’re swinging with their eyes closed.”

The album's standard version features 12 songs while the deluxe edition includes 16.

Twain dropped a major piece of news on Thursday (Aug. 17) with the announcement of her expansive Shania Now Tour in 2018. It kicks off May 3 and concludes on Aug. 4 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Presales begin on Tuesday (Aug. 22).
