Single Record of the Year, awarded to a song's artist(s), producer(s) and record label(s), features some of the year's hottest hits as its nominees. Who do you think should win the category at the 2016 ACM Awards?

Cam's "Burning House" is, of course, a front-runner in this category. The sunny singer drew in many fans with her introspective tune, full of regret and sadness. Meanwhile, Chris Janson's "Buy Me a Boat" is an entirely different vibe: The blue-collar title track was certified platinum in December and pretty much launched the artist's career.

"Die a Happy Man" from Thomas Rhett is the most romantic song of the bunch in this category. He wrote it as a love song for his wife, whom he's known since he was a tiny tyke, and it clearly resonated with country fans as a whole: The song peaked at No. 1 and has been certified platinum. It also was the first song to spend six weeks at No. 1 since Taylor Swift's "Our Song" in December 2007-January 2008.

Of course, "Girl Crush" from Little Big Town is on this list. With Grammy and CMA trophies already claimed, its ACM nods (Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year) have a real shot at being turned into even more trophies. Chris Young's nominated tune, "I'm Comin' Over," is the title track of his 2015 album; it became his sixth No. 1 single on Billboard's Country Airplay chart and has been certified gold.

Single Record of the Year's final nominee, Sam Hunt's "Take Your Time," was a smash hit. It was certified double platinum in August and is the singer's second consecutive single to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. "Take Your Time" is, to date, Hunt's highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 as well. It also received two CMA Awards nods.
