Ray Price's battle with pancreatic cancer has sent the singer back into the hospital once again.

Ray Price remains hospitalized Thursday (Oct. 10) after being rushed to the cardiac intensive care unit on Tuesday night.

Country icon Ray Price, who made headlines earlier this year over a public tiff with Blake Shelton due to comments the latter made about country music's elder statesmen and classic artists, referring to them as "old farts," has been readmitted to the hospital. The singer has been in and out of facilities over the past several weeks.

Legendary country star Ray Price has been battling pancreatic cancer, but there's good news for the veteran entertainer. The 87-year-old singer has announced that his cancer is in remission, and he will be undergoing physical therapy as the next phase of his treatment.

If Blake Shelton really wants to make up for his recent comments about classic country fans being "old farts," it looks like he's going to have the chance. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year has been offered a gig opening for country legend Ray Price, who publicly took him to task after his comments went viral.

Legendary country star Ray Price is not happy with reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton, and he's not afraid to say so in public. In a Facebook post today, the 87-year-old entertainer took issue with comments Shelton made to GAC, in which he derided old country fans for not understanding the music of the new generation.

Country legend Ray Price has confirmed he's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The 86-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer says he has been undergoing chemotherapy for six months and is encouraged by the results.

Today's KLAW Classic is another song written and recorded by Kris Kristofferson.  However, the song found it's first success when it was recorded one year later by Ray Price.

The KLAW Saturday Classic this week goes way back to June 23rd, 1956. That's 56 years ago! It was the first #1 for the legendary Ray Price.
