We are just 10 days away from our 4th Annual Taste of Home Cooking School and 20 days away from Easter. Here is a fun recipe from the Taste of Home website that you could make for your family as an Easter treat.

Not only did they get to see these recipes get made live, our attendees also got to check out a vendors show beforehand to compliment their kitchen...

As almost everyone knows, I don't cook.  It's not that I can't cook, it's just I don't like to do it. Yesterday I posted a recipe for an easy last minute Easter Cake.  It looked easy enough to make so I decided to try to bake it last night.  Here are the results:

Easter is such a fun holiday.  It is the beginning of spring and everything is new and bright and fun.  I was checking out the Taste of Home website and found a recipe for a really cute Easter cake made with Peeps.  The best part  - it's made with a box cake mix.

Every once in awhile we need to take some "girl time".  I did just that on Saturday.  My friend Tauna and I met at the Kiwanis Pancake Days for breakfast on Saturday and then headed to Oklahoma City to attend a book signing by The Pioneer Woman - Ree Drummond.

Is there such a thing as traditional Easter Dinner menu?  Is there something your family always eats on Easter Sunday?  Maybe it's hot Cross Buns, as the nursery rhymes says, if you have no daughters, give them to your sons!

The Taste of Home Cooking School is set for Tuesday evening April 10th.  Culinary specialist Jamie Dunn will be treating us to 10 different recipes.  Here is one of the recipe's we will learn to make.  Peanut Butter Cheesecake!

I love to be in the kitchen.  I love the smell of good food cooking in my kitchen.  Sometimes, I even like to be the one cooking that food!
