Taylor Swift didn't perform at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (Aug. 11), and she didn't turn up at the ceremony -- she was otherwise engaged and on tour. She didn't win any of the mainstream or pop awards for which she was nominated, but she did pocket two country-specific awards in absentia.

She took home a pair of surfboards (the TCAs don’t hand out petite gold statues meant for mantles, they hand out surfboards that are often taller than the winners themselves, although that wouldn't be a problem from the towering Swift) -- one for Choice Female Country Artist and one for Choice Country Song. She nabbed the latter for last year's smash, 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'

While Swift deals with so many questions and criticisms about how "country" she is at this stage of her career, the fans, who were the TCAs voters, selected her as their favorite country gal in not one, but two categories.

We've said it before: Let's hope Swift has enough room in her house to store even more awards ... surfboards will take up a lot of space.

Next up are the VMAs in two weeks, which means Swift will probably be adding even more trophies to her collection. Kanye West, beware and back off! You won't ruin Taylor Swift's moment this time.
