Blake Shelton is the coach with the mostest in this season of The Voice, as he is in the enviable position of having two artists in the running to win season 14. During the first part of the two-night live finale on Monday (May 21), one of his vocalists, Spensha Baker, dominated the scene with a lush cover of Kacey Musgraves' "Merry Go Round."

Baker expressed her surprise at having made it all the way to finals, a sentiment that probably comes across as interesting to viewers, given her calm command of the stage over the weeks—as well as the loyal dedication her coach Shelton has been showing her throughout the entire season. Shelton has declared that Baker is exactly what country music needs, and his enthusiasm has clearly transferred to the Voice audience.

Baker further showed off her chops joining Shelton on a duet of Tanya Tucker's "Tell Me About It." Shelton showed restraint during the song, allowing his team member to shine brightly and fully display her full range.

Baker is facing up against her fellow team Blake singer, Kyla Jade; as well as Kelly Clarkson’s Brynn Cartelli and Alicia Keys’ Britton Buchanan. America's votes will determine the winner of The Voice, which will be announced on Tuesday’s (May 22) part two of the finale. Tune in to see who takes home the prize!
