I have it admit it, I am a racing chic!  I love the dirt from the Dirt Track, the roar from the 'Big Boys' of Nascar, and just about everything in between.

My Dad and brother were both racers at the Lawton Speedway, so I am most familiar with that track.  Owned and operated by the Edwards family for nearly 50 years, the lights of the Speedway can be seen Saturday nights in South Lawton.   I have been to the Altus Speedway a couple of times as well, cheering for a co-worker's husband.  It's not a dirt track but a fun place to watch racing.

But, for the full racing experience, you cannot beat Texas Motor Speedway.  From the tailgate parties, campers, and the pre-race activities, to the mid-way shopping experience, TMS, will make a race weekend an event.  Once seated, you can actually feel the speed.

If you feel the need for speed, you can check out our handy map below for the tracks in our area.
