Blake Shelton wins three trophies during the 46th annual Country Music Association awards, broadcast on ABC from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. He takes Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist and shares Song of the Year with Miranda Lambert, for "Over You".

Keeping it in the family, Miranda would take the honors as Female Vocalist of the Year, while Little Big Town would take Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year for "Pontoon" and Thompson Square would be named Vocal Duo of the Year. Eric Church would be honored with the Album of the Year trophy for Chief and Hunter Hayes would be named New Artist of the Year.

Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw would share the award for Musical Event of the Year for "Feel Like A Rock Star", Toby Keith the trophy for Video of the Year for "Red Solo Cup" and the award for Musician of the Year would once again go home with the legendary Mac MacAnally.
