Born Earnest Clayton Walker, Jr, Clay Walker made his country music bebut in 1993 with the song 'What's it to You'.

He totaled 6 number one hits, including today's KLAW Classic which stands as one of Country's shortest songs at 2:10. Walker didn't like the songs pop feel at first, and is quoted as saying that when he plays the song in concert, he can't help feeling...'is that it?' because the song is so short.

On this day in 1994, the song penned in part by Alan Jackson, actually succeeded another Jackson tune 'Living on Love' to the top spot on the charts.  Here's 'If I Could Make a Living Loving You' today's KLAW Classic.
