Today’s KLAW Classic Wasn’t Satisfied With Number 2 [VIDEO]

The very first number for Mel Tillis was actually a single by the song's co writer 13 years before it reached number one.

Webb Pierce and Mel Tillis co wrote today's KLAW Classic 'I Aint Never', and Pierce recorded it and released it as a single. The song spend 9 weeks at the number 2 spot.  Mel Tillis re recorded the song and released it in 1972 where it became his very first number one song.
