I can't believe the regular season is about to come to an end and for the Highlanders and what a season it has been. First for winning the City Championship and having the General's trophy travel back up to the Hill followed by a great road District win to defeat Ardmore, Home win against Duncan and then a District Championship which insures Big Mac home field advantage for the first two weeks of the play-offs.

Before I start jumping ahead of myself the regular season ends this Friday with a road trip to Taft stadium to take on NW Classen. So what's to play for when you are looking to playoffs next week? How about an undefeated season for only the second time in MacArthur history. QB Taylor Chasteen to eclipse 2,000 passing yards;  Darious Graham to add to his already 1,000 yards rushing;  I want to add that this group is very focused to what's in front of them and they now it and they know what is at stake and they have been working for this very moment since the heartbreaking loss in the Semi-finals last year and for some of them as early as their freshman year they have been preparing for this time.

If you make the trip to Taft stadium this will be the last football game ever played in this stadium; one that has had ball games played in it since its opening back in 1934. Sources tell me that they will start bull dozing next week.  The new stadium, that is used by three schools (Capitol Hill, U.S Grant and NW Classen), will be completed  for next year. If you do not make the trip, Steve Kelly and I will be broadcasting live starting around 7pm. Or you can listen live by CLICKING HERE! You can even listen on your iPhone or Android device by downloading our free app radioPup by CLICKING HERE!

Next week 1st round of the playoffs Friday night at Cameron we will see you there.....Hoka Hey!
