The birth ends speculation as to when Underwood would deliver, and what she would name the couple’s first child. The “Little Toy Guns” singer had said she was going to wait to meet him before deciding on what she’d call him. The proud Christian chose a Biblical name, in addition to her husband’s name as a middle name.

This is the first child for Fisher and Underwood. The country star has been protective of some of the details, but also included fans and media by openly talking about singing to the unborn child and what traits of Fisher’s she hoped he’d get. The 31-year-old has often stepped out in public, proudly showing off her baby bump. She even took the CMA Awards stage to reveal the gender!

Join all of us at KLAW as we welcome a child who will possibly be the best singing center in the history of the National Hockey League and the Grand Ole Opry. Congratulations Mike & Carrie.
