Most people remember Andy Griffith as the venerable sheriff Andy Taylor in the town of Mayberry from The Andy Griffith Show. Others remember him sage-like southern lawyer Ben Matlock from Matlock. And even more will remember him from the classic video for Brad Paisley's hit "Waitin' On A Woman".

Few people remember that before he starred in movies like A Face In The Crowd or No Time For Sargeants, on TV from Mayberry, or in countless other television rolls, that Griffith was a stand up comedian, using a home-spun southern charm that Jeff Foxworthy can only hope to approach. One of Griffith's most famous comedy bits revolved around a southerner, new to the big city, who accidentally wanders into a football stadium, and describes what it is he is "a-seein'".

To celebrate last weekend's kick-off of the college football season, and the NFL getting underway this week, I thought I would share Griffith's masterpiece with you. Enjoy! And let's get ready for some football!!!
