What’s the Best City for Trick-or-Treating?
Being named the best city for trick-or-treating isn’t so much like taking candy from a baby as it is taking candy from someone who opens their front door when you ring it.
A new study has ranked the 20 best cities for trick-or-treating.
Emerging from the cavity-filled, sugar-induced fog to take the top spot is San Francisco. It’s the third year in a row the city by the bay has claimed the number one position, which makes us curious to see where it would rank on the list of best cities to be a dentist.
Boston locked down second place, while Honolulu came in third. Hmm, great weather, beautiful beaches and easy access to candy – why don’t we live in Hawaii again?
The rankings were created using four factors, including home values, population density, ease of walking and crime statistics. That criteria was whipped together like chocolate and nougat to determine what cities will give out the most candy, while also figuring out which metropolis is safest and with the least amount of walking (which means trick-or-treaters can get home sooner, rip open their haul and get a head start on that inevitable stomachache).
