It was June 3, 2000 and Tracy Lawrence, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney were playing a show in Buffalo, New York and the trio truly found out the difference between good friends and best friends.

A good friend will bail you out of jail when you are arrested for stealing a police officers horse and then punching another officer who tried to keep you from committing the felony. A best friend is sitting in the jail cell next to you for being part of the escapade.

It was that night that Chesney, McGraw and Lawrence were arrested when Kenny asked a sheriff officer's daughter if he could ride the officer's horse. He then rode off on the horse before getting a response, ignoring orders to stop. Two sheriff officers then intervened, as did McGraw and Lawrence, and soon a scuffle ensued, with the two officers suffered injuries in the melee, which ranged from a minor bruise to lacerations and broken bones.
