Even without her lasso and gauntlets and sword, Wonder Woman is still plenty powerful — but those things sure do help, and they look cool as hell. Like, really cool. Functionally speaking, Diana’s accessories have always been pretty awesome, but some of them (lookin’ at you, lasso) have occasionally come off as a bit corny. As we’ve seen in the trailers, Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins have ensured that there’s nothing silly about them, but when it comes to that sword, there’s no debate: It rules. And it’s the centerpiece in a newly released photo from the upcoming Wonder Woman solo film.

Entertainment Weekly debuted the new pic, which features Diana Prince — all snazzy in gold — claiming the “god killer” sword from the Amazonian armory:

That place seems pretty sparse for an “armory,” but maybe each weapon has its own elaborate holding place? Speaking with EW, director Patty Jenkins describes the scene as a key moment, both in the film and for Diana’s development:

This is her momentShe’s heard all the terrible things about man’s land. But she’s also heard that mankind is in need and under duress. This is her great moment to make the decision to be the one to try and save them.

In the film, Diana is drawn to the world of men when Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washes up on Paradise Island (aka Themyscira) — a place ruled by the Amazonian women, who (smartly) choose not to meddle in the affairs of mankind. But that changes when Diana feels compelled to return to our world with Steve and intervene in “the war to end all wars.”

Wonder Woman also stars Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis, and hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
