I am beyond honored to have the opportunity to meet and interview World War II Veteran Dr. Jack Spencer.  Spencer was an Army Air Corps Navigator flying on this 13th mission when he was shot down over Germany shortly before the end of the war.

He was captured and remained in a Germain prisoner of war camp until liberated by the Russian army who had hopes of using the soldiers as slaves. It was fascinating hearing things that I had only seen in the movies, but they actually happened to Dr. Spencer in real life.

If you missed today's Interview, I am including it in 3 parts.  Part one and two played on the air, and the rest of the story is contained in Part 3.  Hats off to our local hero, Dr. Jack Spencer.  Thank you for your service.
