Please indulge me this...I love my grand babies, and am so proud of them! You'd expect nothing less, Right?

My oldest grandchild, McKayla began Preschool this fall at Flowermound School.  Her Momma works really close to there and it works out very well for her schedule to have here so close by.  I was invited to be there for her first day of school and she was so excited to have Momma and Daddy and Bubba, and Nana go into her class with her for the first day.  No tears were shed.  At least not from McKayla.

This past Sunday was Grandparents day.  Not a lot of people recognize it.  In fact if I hadn't have been invited to Grandparents day at McKayla's school I probably wouldn't have even know that it had happened this year.

Monday's Grandparents celebration included several songs, demonstrations of all that they have learned in the last few weeks and a special card with little hand prints on them.  Such treasured for this Nana.  McKayla did very very well, and I can say that she was one of the best behaved students in the class.  Thank you Mrs. Perez for inviting me to take a peak at what it's like to be a Preschool teacher.  (I think I will stick with radio, thanks very much!)
