Ok, everyone take a deep breath. Did you use your mouth? Well, then you have breathed perfectly....perfectly wrong.

That is lesson number one in Yoga. We have forgotten how to breathe. In Yoga, we retrain our bodies to breathe in complete breaths. It takes some practice to inflate your belly, ribs, and chest and then to deflate in the same order. I was interested in Yoga for that reason alone. To relearn how to breathe and to use that technique to relax from the hectic days.

The second thing that I learned is that no matter how big or small a person is, we can benefit from Yoga. We all need to stretch and breathe.
