Zac Brown Band kicked off their 2016 Black Out the Sun Tour on May 19 in Hartford, Conn., and they brought Drake White and the Big Fire along to get things started right.

The first night of the Black Out the Sun Tour was a big one at the Xfinity Theatre. White began the show with his soulful sounds, also mixing in his hit single "Livin' the Dream." It was an upbeat, energetic set to lead into ZBB.

"We get to perform some stuff we haven’t played before," Brown told the crowd. They kept hits rolling out during the set, playing songs like "Toes" and "Homegrown" before slowing it down for a few acoustic songs. They played "Castaway" and "Chicken Fried" before beginning "Tomorrow Never Comes" and urging the audience to let the lyrics sink in.
