Today on the KLAW Classic we head to the county auction as John Michael Montgomery looks for his better half. The song 'Sold' is off his self titled album and went to # 1 in 1995.

On July 16, 1968 one of Country music's most iconic songs was released and it just so happen to be about a city in the great state of Oklahoma. 'Okie from Muskogee' was single of the year in 1970, and was on the soundtrack of the movie ' Platoon' and in 201o the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce they posted a Youtube video in honor of the songs 40th anniversary.

Today the KLAW Classic was Everything That Glitters( Is Not Gold) by Dan Seals, who scored 11 # 1 hits including this great song. Seals had early fame as part of the group England Dan and John Ford Coley and  is the younger brother of Jim Seals from the group Seals and Crofts...

The group 'Pistol Annies' without a doubt have a true old country sound with a rockabilly feel that makes for some great music. And their latest video ' Takin' Pills' is no exception to their unique sound, and I have a feeling 'Takin Pills' is going to be a big hit.

On this Memorial Day it's our chance to stop, reflect and say thank you to all of the men and women currently serving and our veterans that have served in all branched of the military. Saturday night I had my first experience watching a Roller Derby game. I went to the Great Plains Coliseum to watch the 580 Rollergirls skate, and left there definitely wanting go back for some more fun for their next bout on May 5th.

After many cast changes and delays in shooting this movie, the "Three Stooges" makes it's way to the big screen this weekend. But will it be worth the wait?
