Not in recent history has there ever been a memorial race at the Lawton Speedway for a driver, the only other memorial race is named for the late track owner, Lanny Edwards...

Forget super cars, this is a MEGACAR! It's the all new Koenigsegg Jesko and it was just unveiled at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. It's capable of producing 1,600hp and reach speeds up to 300mph!

Funeral services for Lanny Edwards will be today at First Baptist Church, 2pm.  Edwards who passed away on Friday will be remembered by many as the Man in the Red Shirt.

Every now and then sports fans are treated to greatness, and right now its race fans who are watching Bryan Clauson accomplish amazing things on race tracks of all sizes. Clauson competed on perhaps the biggest stage racing has seen in years with the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 back on Memorial Day Weekend, and this Wednesday he’ll be on the track at Lawton Speedway.

Hopefully he'll wait until he's done using it...
