Weirdly enough, they've built these covered wagon rooms to accommodate a king-size bed and two twin bunk beds for your family. There's even room for a little table and other creature comforts.

Just like the Oregon Trail, only without all the dysentery.

Looking at the pictures, there's obviously not room in your private Schooner for a bathroom, but those are offered just adjacent to your rental, and they're private to each family.

They're also climate-controlled, so this Oklahoma camping in August isn't the sweaty and miserably hot bummer it has always been this time of year. Your kids will love it.

The cost.

If you'd like to have a modern version of vintage Oklahoma life, it's not cheap, but it's also not out of this world expensive. $175 per night, plus half-price admission to Turner Falls Park.

All in all, it's pretty neat. See all the details here.

If Davis is too far, you can also camp in wagons or experience teepee camping at Orr Family Farm in OKC.

We've all heard these super-common sayings growing up in Oklahoma. They're so common, they're not just Sooner State phrases, but this is where we heard them so often as youths. It's almost funny to learn some of the more seedy origins of phrases our ultra-conservative grandparents used to say. They'd likely turn over in their graves learning some of these meanings.
