Since hurricanes can be so devastating, as we've witnessed in the last few days, rescue and support crews from all over the USA mobilize to aid in recovery efforts. Oklahoma is no exception.

Oklahoma's Task Force 1 originally deployed to Orlando, Florida expecting the worst for the Sunshine State. Even though Floridians are generally used to the fury of hurricanes, OKTF-1 was able to provide needed services there before being redirected to the devastated areas of Tennessee and the Carolinas.

With local reports of a quiet-to-non-existent federal response days after giving billions to Israel and Ukraine, OKTF-1's arrival is more than welcome.
