No Good Having Any of These at Your Garage Sale in Oklahoma, They Won’t Sell
It's garage sale season! After everyone has finished their spring cleaning, they'll be tempted to try to sell absolutely anything they hadn't already rehomed - but somethings are just better in the trash.
1. Used Underwear
Do we need much of an explanation here?
2. Broken Items
If it won't work for you, it won't work for anyone else. This includes broken dishware, clothing and other items. The only except might be furniture that just needs a few fixins', as Oklahomans have become big fans of DIY work that they can resell. Maybe instead of selling it slightly broken, you can fix it yourself and resell it for more, like Jeri Christmas does at Past Perfect Too.
3. Dallas Cowboys Decor
You might try a pawn shop? I've heard they all kinds of invaluables. All joking aside, sports decor can either do really well or terribly, depending on the team and the area of Oklahoma you're in. Anything Sooners, OSU Cowboys, or Oklahoma City Thunder related and you're sure to get it out of your place.
4. Outdated Technology & Bundles of Cords
First of all, if it is outdated, there's a good chance that, if it isn't working, it won't work again and there isn't a way of fixing it. As far as those cords go - someone may need one or two, but the likelihood of someone needing them all is slim.
5. Surfboards
Although they're close to paddleboards, Oklahoma's waters aren't ever ideal for surfing; even if they were, hardly anyone in the state would know what to do with a surfboard. You might have some luck posting them for sale near an area with out-of-towners, such Oklahoma City, Tulsa or any military base.
