Every Halloween, most of us are fighting for pretty much the same candy statewide. If you take a look at the list below, you'll see that Oklahoma generally has the same taste in sweets.

Overall, Oklahoma doesn't eat as much candy as other states. On many of the lists of "who eats the most candy in the country," Oklahoma is nowhere to be found. Instead, New York, Ohio, Calfornia and Florida are at the top.

Instead, Oklahoma really just spends most of it's money on party decorations, groceries, and tools.

According to the candystore.com, throughout the country, the top 3 most popular candies are:

  1. M&M's
  2. Reese's
  3. Sour Patch Kids

But it looks like Oklahoma has a bit different taste since our #1 favorite lands on #4 on the Candy Store national favorites list.

Oklahomans really only cave into their sweet tooth cravings around certain holidays like Valentines Day, Easter, and - who would've ever guessed - Halloween.
