When it comes to opening up a new business in our area. One of the biggest requests is always a Buc-ee's. Many feel like one of the middle sized Buc-ee's would be great somewhere in Texoma. Well our good friend at KAUZ Chris Koetter shared a photo of a new sign in Iowa Park that is getting a lot of attention.

Oh snap that is an official Buc-ee's logo and this is somewhat what a Buc-ee's sign looks like when they announce a new store is opening.

We all think of Buc-ee's billboards telling us how far away the next location is. However, the coming soon signs are typically something small like the ones seen in Georgia above. So it is possible that a Buc-ee's could be opening up in Iowa Park. Let's do some more digging into this.

According to the Buc-ee's website, these are the only future stores planned at this time. Pretty sweet that Texas has two new locations on the way. Sadly, none near us. I have tried calling the Buc-ee's Corporate Office and no one is answering.

What Does Iowa Park Have to Say About This?

According to Iowa Park City Hall, no one has filed a permit for Buc-ee's to open in town and since the sign is on private property. They can not have the person take it down. So sadly it looks like Buc-ee's is not opening in Iowa Park. Looks like another troll is on the loose in Iowa Park like the guy that said a tiger shark was found in an Iowa Park lake. Hopefully someone from Buc-ee's sees this and maybe thinks about opening up one near us.
