So far four Republicans are competing to be the Texas Speaker of the House and for us in Wichita Falls, you might recognize one of them.
Representative James Frank Files for Texas Speaker of the House
Yesterday District 69 Representative James Frank announced he was running for the Texas Speaker of the House. You can check out his full announcement above, but he focused on three changes and improvements that he would bring to the position if he were to get it.

He has a detailed explanation on all three of these things he plans to bring to the Texas Speaker of the House position. James Frank represents Texas' 69th district which pretty much encompasses all of our listening area. Including Wichita, Archer, Clay, Baylor, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Haskell, King, Knox, Motley, Stonewall, and Wilbarger counties. Let's see who else could be the next Texas Speaker of the House.
