Joe Rogan’s San Antonio, Texas Stand Up Special Will Air ‘Live’ on Netflix
Joe Rogan's first stand up special in six years will be shot right here in Texas.
Joe Rogan Live at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio
Joe Rogan's San Antonio show is completely sold out for August 3rd, but don't worry you will be able to watch it 'live' on Netflix with the rest of the crowd. The streaming service just announced it will be their third live stand up special ever. Chris Rock and John Mulaney previously had specials air live.
This will be Joe's first standup special since 2018's "Strange Times". For fans of Joe Rogan that would live to see him live in San Antonio, he's also playing the night before at the same venue and tickets are still available for that show. Now technically this is not a 'live' event. Joe is expected to take the stage at 7PM, while the Netflix stream will begin at 9PM.
Majestic Theatre Important Part of Texas History
For fans who love going to the theatre, the Majestic is an important piece of Texas history. It was built in 1929 and was the first venue in the entire state of Texas to have air conditioning throughout. Many probably just came bought a ticket to get out of the heat back in the day. It remains one of the finest examples of atmospheric theatres ever built, receiving National Historic Landmark status in 1993. Fans in attendance will be in for a great night, but if you were not lucky enough to get tickets. Turn on Netflix for a fun night in.
