Star Wars Fans Calling Out Texas Senator Ted Cruz Over Meme
A viral moment during a Ted Cruz interview this week has turned into a nerd debate.
Heated Moments During Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson Interview This Week
Yesterday Texas Senator Ted Cruz was on Tucker Carlon's YouTube channel talking about several topics. The main topic was America's involvement with Iran and several clips have gone viral from the two hour interview in less than 24 hours of it being uploaded. One of the most talked about moments was when Carlson asked Cruz if he knew how many people lived in Iran.
Throughout the interview both Cruz and Carlson go at each other, but one of the most heated moments about the population of Iran has since gone viral. Texas Senator Ted Cruz has since 'memed' the moment with Carlson where instead of interviewing him, Carlson is interviewing Luke Skywalker.

Star Wars Book References Luke Knew the Exact Population of the Death Star
Back in 1996, around when the original movies were being released in theaters a new book series started called Star Wars Legends came out. Which gives more background on our favorite Star Wars characters. An excerpt from the book titled 'Shield of Lies', which you can read right here, shows that Luke knew the exact population of the Death Star when he blew it up.
25,800 stormtroopers, 27,048 officers, 774,576 crew, 378,685 support staff. One million two hundred five thousand one hundred nine," Luke said quietly. "Not counting the droids"
This book showed that Luke wiping out all of those people on the Death Star weighed on his conscience. So yes Senator Cruz, Luke Skywalker would have been able to answer that question. Don't mess with Star Wars nerds Senator Cruz. They are just ready to dunk on you with facts.
