Blake Shelton + Gwen Stefani Swap Love Notes on Their Third Anniversary
Wednesday (July 3) marks another year of marriage in the books for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
Now three years into wedded bliss, Shelton and Stefani celebrated their special day by posting some of their favorite photos together. Shelton opted for a recent shot, sharing a photo that looks like it was likely taken at the ACM Awards this May.
Meanwhile, Stefani couldn't pick just one photo: She shared a carousel full of throwback shots from their wedding day, including one shot of herself and Shelton posing with her three kids.
Both singers kept their anniversary messages short and sweet this year.
"I love you!!!!!!!" Shelton wrote in the caption of his post. "It has always been you," Stefani shared in hers, along with their wedding date: July 3, 2021.
Shelton and Stefani met on the set of The Voice back in 2014, when both were coaches on the show. As they got to know each other, they were both going through heartbreak. Shelton had recently divorced fellow country star Miranda Lambert, while Stefani was healing from her split from Gavin Rossdale.
The pair announced their engagement in October 2020, and tied the knot the following year in a specially built chapel on their Oklahoma property.
Music is a big part of the couple's relationship: They've worked together on several songs, including the No. 1 country hits "Happy Anywhere" and "Nobody But You." Most recently, they teamed up for the Stefani-led "Purple Irises."
