Jay DeMarcus Names Best Rascal Flatts Deep Cut
Rascal Flatts have no shortage of hit songs enjoyed by the masses, but what about their songs that never made it to radio? What's their best deep cut?
Well, Rascal Flatts member and Grammy-winning producer Jay DeMarcus answered that question — in his opinion, of course — when he posted a video revealing his five favorite deep cuts from the famous trio's album discography.
Surprisingly, we don't always hear artists' favorite songs on the radio. It takes a village to pick the "hit." Sometimes, some of the best — and artists favorites — get left just for the fans who listen to the whole album. Those tracks that are never promoted as a single or sent to radio are know as deep cuts.
DeMarcus' favorite: "It's Not Just Me" — a ballad from the trio's 2000 eponymous debut album.
