Lawton OK, May 31, 2011 - Sr. Summit hosts their monthly meeting on June 8 with guest speaker Rep. Don Armes.

"Sr. Summit is an impressive group of regional healthcare professionals," stated Renae Sexton, Sr. Summit co-founder.  "We endeavor to present our members with informative guest speakers and are delighted that Rep. Armes could speak to our group."

Sr. Summit was founded in 2009 by Renae Sexton and Vycke McEwen because they saw a need for healthcare professionals to network and support each other. Members are encouraged to create a stronger bond and relationship within the Lawton Fort Sill community they serve.

"Healthcare professionals today face difficult decisions and with Rep. Armes' legislative experience regarding healthcare, we have the unique opportunity to acquire firsthand information about current healthcare issues.  Our healthcare professionals look forward to words of encouragement and inspiration," concluded Sexton.

Sr. Summit's membership consists of over 160 healthcare professionals who serve southwest Oklahoma with over 40 individuals attending the monthly meetings.  Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of each month at various sites in the Lawton Fort Sill community.  The meeting site changes monthly to provide awareness of services offered by each hosting entity.

The June meeting is held at Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, 1001 SE 36th Street, Lawton from 11:30am to 1pm with lunch provided by Luigi's Italian Restaurant.  Lunch is $5/person and includes baked ziti, salad, bread and a beverage.  RSVP by June 6 to renaesexton@gmail.com or phone 580.512.6936 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 580.512.6936 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.  Meetings are open to the public.
