April showers have brought FFA flowers to the greenhouse at Duncan High School, just in time for the school's annual plant sale.

Mid May already? Seems like yesterday we were buying new shoes and school clothes and getting all the supplies they needed.

The 2012 Oklahoma Youth Expo came to a close with the Sale of Champions.  Literally hundreds of kids from across the state of Oklahoma showed thousands of animals at this year's Expo.

The Comanche County Spring Livestock Show is a community event to say the least.  I have been attending the show since I moved to Lawton.  It not only showcases some of the best livestock from  Cache, Chattanooga, Elgin,Fletcher,  Geronimo, Indiahoma, Sterling, and Lawton, but also features some of the most dedicated and hard working young adults from two great clubs; 4H and FFA.

The Comanche County Spring Livestock show is underway at the Comanche County Fairgrounds, 920 S. Sheridan Road.  According to Marty New, the Comanche County Extension Director, the first Comanche county Junior Livestock show was held in the late 1930's and in 1959 the Saddle & Sirloin Club was formed to assist with the auction and it's volunteers have been crucial to the show ever since. ... Future Farmers of America, Indahoma Chapter will have a Chili Cook off to raise money.

The Tillman County Junior Livestock Show committee would like to invite all individuals and businesses to support Tillman County’s youth at their Annual Livestock Trophy auction.
