If you planning on heading to the Lawton Freedom Festival this weekend at Elmer Thomas Park, but you still want to buy your own fireworks, be careful not to set them off in Lawton, at Lake Lawtonka or at Lake Ellsworth.
I kept hearing all this conflicting information about where you can and where you can NOT light fireworks in or around the Lawton area so I went right to the city to ask and this is what I found out.
