Last week's winter storm wreaked havoc on Oklahoma with record low freezing temperatures and tons of snow and ice. We're finally on the other side of it, but the effects will continue to linger for months to come. Now that everything is starting to thaw out and melt way a lot of people, myself included, are very worried about next month's electric bill.

Governor Stitt Declares Statewide Winter Weather State of Emergency
Governor Stitt just declared a Winter weather state of emergency for all 77 Oklahoma counties. He just signed the executive orders this afternoon and it will be in effect statewide until weather conditions improve. Oklahoma is expected to get extremely cold temperatures, snow, ice and all kinds of frozen precipitation over the next few days. At his time we're looking at a 80% chance of snow on Sunday, there's a 50% chance on Tuesday and 40% chance of snow on Wednesday. Temperatures will be well below freezing and even below zero for parts of the weekend and going into next week.
