Have you heard the one about the horse that walked into a Texas Taco Bell? It's no Joke.

Not so long ago a rancher would saddle up his horse and ride out to either move cattle from one pasture to another or to bring them up to graze on winter wheat. Where I grew up, in northern South Dakota, they would ride out and bring the cattle up close to the barn for winter.

A friend of mine shared this video with me on Facebook. I can't tell you how many times I have fought with one of my horses to get it loaded. We tried everything...bribery, forcefulness, begging, crying...nothing worked. I even had a horse that you would have to lock arms behind him and physically lift him into a trailer.
