Chris Stapleton’s new record, From A Room: Volume 1, was released this past Friday (May 5th). If you hadn’t heard, the world will be blessed with two new Stapleton albums this year. The man who had the biggest selling country album in 2016 with Traveller, is set to release Volume 2 later this year...
If perhaps SNL seemed to be sleeping on the job with its two-hosts-per-month in 2017, they had good reason. Not only have the final four hosts been announced, including Jimmy Fallon, Melissa McCarthy and The Rock, but shows will air live across the country for the first time in history.
Few would suggest current SNL Weekend Update team Colin Jost and Michael Che as the segment’s peak, likely putting past pairs like Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon higher on the list. The two even made an unexpected return to the desk this weekend, but not exactly as we remember them.
When you’re out promoting a movie, you’re often asked to do a lot of things, most of them pretty silly. With the amount of press the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was being asked to do, there were asked to do a lot of silly things, none perhaps as silly as going on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and singing a medley of Star Wars music a cappella. But the entire cast — including Harrison Ford! — actually commits, and it actually turns out to pretty fun.
We’ve seen Jimmy Fallon take on the likes of Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and House of Cards, but with Empire Season 2 drip-dropping its FOX premiere tomorrow night, Fallon was bound to take the throne. Watch the real Cookie and Lucious chime in as The Tonight Show takes on the Empire with Jimpire!
June 23rd. That's when the world get their first listen to Kacey Musgraves sophomore album, "Pageant Material." Ahead of the release date Musgraves will be stopping by not one, but two NBC late night shows.
Last weekend, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosted SNL and did an amazing job. So, this guy can walk down a street with a giant gatling gun in Furious 7 and also be hilarious? It's almost not fair. But, The Rock's range doesn't stop there. Last night, he appeared on the debut episode of Lip Sync Battle, a spinoff of sorts from the popular segment on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, and of course he won. By lip syncing Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”. This you gotta see.
If you’re in need of about five minutes of Chappie star Hugh Jackman and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon discussing, joking about, and sporting mullets, have we got a clip for you. Jackman stopped by the show last night to talk Chappie – all robots and future and stuff – but Fallon quickly fixated on his favorite element of the entire film: Jackman’s mullet. Turns out, Jackman went full mullet for the role, and it’s actually not the first time he’s grown out his own party in back/business in front coif.
Should we be worried about Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon? The late night chatterbox has spent the last year of his life winning all sorts of wacky, mostly oversized games on his show, but lately, things have been going pretty downhill. In short, he’s lost, a lot, and no one seems more confused about it than Fallon himself.
“Fifty Shades of Grey? That’s nothing!”
It’s fair to assume that the last thing most people – even most late night hosts – would ask Ice T should they have him locked in a conversation is how he feels about Fifty Shades of Grey. Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is not most people, and when Ice T (Ice? Mr. T?) appeared on his show last night, Fallon asked him about America’s current cultural obsession. Ice T had some opinions! They’re kind of great!
Why doesn’t everyone ask John Oliver for advice on everything? The Last Week Tonight host consistently thinks of the best possible answer for every possible question, so why not just turn him into the world’s all-knowing sage or something? The guy isn’t that busy, right?
