The K-LAW Classic for Wednesday was the #1 country song 25 years today - November 28th, 1987. It was the seventh #1 for a guy who once teamed with Lee Roy Parnell and Diamond Rio, recording Merle Haggard's 'Workin' Man Blues' under the name Jed Zeppelin.

Today's KLAW Classic is 27 years old today!  From Steve Wariner, and yes, he did actually sing 'Happy Birthday' to the Morning Crew's Jeri Anderson, live on the air, right here at KLAW 101.
